Combine wild nature, crystal-clear rivers full of fish, and an adventurous feeling with a (fishing)-crazy guide, and you will experience fishing in Namibia!

When you think of Namibia, you think of a desert country. And that's true! Namibia lies between two deserts, the Namib and the Kalahari. Hardly anyone thinks of rivers or even fly fishing in Namibia. But it's possible!

The most abundant fish can be found in the world-renowned Okavango with its delta, the Zambezi, and the lesser-known Kwando River. These three rivers are located in the northeast of Namibia, in a region primarily characterized by pristine nature.

Especially the tigerfish, rightly considered one of the strongest freshwater fish and fighters on the line, is abundantly found in the branching river systems.

Therefore, fishing in Namibia is more than just pursuing fish; it’s a unique nature experience! Elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and various antelopes are often silent observers.
