Because I know what I’m doing!
Born and raised on the Namibian Atlantic coast, with nearly 2000 km of ocean (and beach), it was only natural that I would start fishing sooner or later. Armed with a bucket and a hand line, I ventured to the water as a five-year-old. At the nearby jetty (built in 1912), I encountered local anglers who taught me a lot about fishing, including bait selection, bait presentation, reading the water, and understanding the right fishing conditions.
And today? I’ve been fly fishing for nearly 25 years, covering several continents and a variety of species, both freshwater and saltwater.
